AWP announces its Party List for London

Ahead of the EU Elections on May 22nd, AWP has announced a full party list of eight candidates for the London Region.

 

Alongside lead candidate and Party Leader, Vanessa Hudson, are designer and animal welfare campaigner Meg Mathews; Dr. Andrew Knight, a Fellow of the Oxford Centre for Animal Ethics and a European Veterinary Specialist in Animal Welfare Science, Ethics and Law; and Alex Bourke, author of the ‘Vegetarian Guides’ series.

World’s biggest Vegan Knickerbocker Glory created in London’s Trafalgar Square

A super-size vegan knickerbocker glory was created in London’s Trafalgar Square on Saturday (16th November).

The UK’s Animal Welfare Party created what is believed to be the world’s largest vegan iced dessert as part of celebrations for World Vegan Month.
