Attempt to make World’s biggest Vegan Knickerbocker Glory

A super-size vegan knickerbocker glory will be created in Trafalgar Square tomorrow Saturday (16th November) at midday.

As part of celebrations for World Vegan Month the Animal Welfare Party is attempting to create the world’s largest vegan iced dessert.

Vegan Chef Tony Bishop Weston and AWP volunteers will help create the knickerbocker glory using a super-size sundae glass and ingredients such as vegan ice cream, chocolate, jelly and bananas.  Samples will be handed our …

AWP support the repeal of Section 24

The Animal Welfare Party has given its backing to the campaign to repeal Section 24 of the Animals (Scientific Procedures) Act 1986, which places a blanket ban on regulators releasing
any information from animal experimentation laboratories.

The campaign, organized by the National Anti-Vivisection Society (NAVS), is also supported by PETA UK, Animal Aid and the Campaign for the Freedom of Information, among others.
